We are looking for a talented public affairs specialist to fill the position of Lawyer or European Affairs Consultant / Director in our Brussels office.

Only candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted. Interviews and assessment will be held as of November 2023. The succesful candidate can start ideally early 2024. Travel to Paris, in particular in the beginning of the job mission but not only, is required.

Missions

  • Define public affairs strategies for corporate clients and work with client’s teams to coordinate and ensure their execution
  • Monitor relevant institutional, policy and regulatory developments at EU level, assess their impact on a client’s reputation and activities and deliver analyses and insights to the client.
  • Design relevant written materials on EU policy and regulatory issues tailored to different stakeholders.
  • Build a trusted relationship between clients and relevant stakeholders (EU institutions, trade associations).

 

Prerequisites

  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience, either as lawyer or public policy specialist;
  • A deep knowledge of EU institutions and its decision making processes, gained by working with policy makers and regulatory bodies at national and/or EU levels
  • Good understanding of tech-related policies.
  • Ability to write and translate complex issues suitable for either technical or non-technical audiences and to communicate effectively in person and in writing.
  • Hands-on experience in project/ advocacy campaigns coordination.
  • Be a team player.
  • Excellent command of English and good knowledge of French.

Our practice is primarily focused on the policy and regulatory environment concerning the digital, gaming, energy, financial, and health sectors.

Our firm has two offices, in Paris and in Brussels, whose teams are working in close cooperation to deliver successful public affairs strategies.
