Anca Caruntu has 13+ years of experience in policy and regulatory affairs. She trained within the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department of Microsoft EMEA, before spending two years coordinating the European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL), a blue-ribbon panel of women in business, politics and academia.
Since joining SAMMAN in 2012, Anca has developed expertise in a broad range of policy and regulatory matters within the digital and tech sectors, including cybersecurity, data, online platforms, and online advertising, as well as industry, trade and energy, at both the French and EU levels. She has been responsible for managing SAMMAN’s Brussels office.
A French-Romanian national, Anca holds a Bachelor’s degree in political sciences from Alexandru I. Cuza University in Romania and a double degree in Geoeconomics and Risk Management and Public Administration from the French think tank IRIS (Institut de relations internationals et stratégiques) and the Public Administration Institute of the University of Western Brittanny.
