A member of the Paris Bar, for the past decade Claire has been drawing on her legal skills to design influence strategies, including seven as Head of European and International Affairs at the French online gambling authority. She provides public affairs support services to clients in the financial sector (fintech and blockchain), the gambling and the digital sectors and regulatory support for the firm’s other clients.

Claire began her career by spending four years working in private practice, where she focused on intellectual property law in particular before joining, in 2012, the French online gaming regulatory authority ARJEL, becoming Head of European and International Affairs until 2019. From 2018 to 2019, she served as the elected Chair of the Gaming Regulators’ European Forum – GREF) where she drove, coordinated and synthesized the joint work of some twenty European authorities on the boundaries between gambling and video games. That same year, she served as Chair of the Technical Committee 456 of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) where she was in charge of drafting a European standard on reporting for online gambling services.

She then took over at the helm of the compliance and anti-money laundering department of the online gambling operator, ALEA, based in Barcelona.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008, Claire earned a Master’s 2 degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Paris XII and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Lawfrom the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
