Lawyer or Public Affairs Consultant – Brussels

We are looking for a talented public affairs specialist to fill the position of Lawyer or Public Affairs Consultant in our Brussels office.

Missions

  • Define public affairs strategies for corporate clients and work with client’s teams to coordinate and ensure their execution;
  • Monitor relevant institutional, policy and regulatory developments at EU level, assess their impact on a client’s reputation and activities and deliver analyses and insights to the client;
  • Draft relevant written materials on EU policy and regulatory issues tailored to different stakeholders;
  • Build a trusted relationship between clients and relevant stakeholders (EU institutions, trade associations).

 

Prerequisites

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, either as lawyer or public policy specialist;
  • A deep knowledge of EU institutions and its decision making processes, gained by working with policy makers and regulatory bodies at national and/or EU levels;
  • Good understanding of policies concerning the digital and tech fields;
  • Ability to write and translate complex issues suitable for either technical or non-technical audiences and to communicate effectively in person and in writing;
  • Hands-on experience in project/ advocacy campaigns coordination;
  • Be a team player;
  • Excellent command of English and good knowledge of French.

Our firm has two offices, in Paris and in Brussels, whose teams are working in close cooperation to deliver successful public affairs strategies.
