Event report

SAMMAN Law and Corporate Affairs is proud to have contributed to the organization of the No AI Without Women conference, an event that delved into the critical challenges and opportunities within the realm of artificial intelligence—an area at the core of our expertise.

Co-organized by the European Network for Women in Leadership, chaired by Thaima Samman, and the think tank La villa numeris, this conference took place on December 5 at the Palais de l’Elysée as part of the official “On the Road to the AI Action Summit” program.

Anne Bouverot, France’s Special Envoy for AI, sponsored the event and underscored the vital need to ensure women see themselves as integral to the AI ecosystem. What better way to inspire this vision than by spotlighting the women driving innovation and shaping AI’s future? This was the core mission of the inaugural No AI Without Women conference.

Among key guest speakers, Lucilla Sioli, Director of the EU AI Office, zmphasized the pivotal role of this new EU regulatory body. She detailed how the AI Office’s mission extends beyond oversight—actively fostering innovation policies designed to develop and master AI technologies that meet Europe’s needs.
